15 – LO SAPEVATE CHE …

dal gennaio 1841 all’estate del 1863 la sala grande del Palazzo Malatestiano ha ospitato il teatro di Fano, una struttura decisamente precaria che avrebbe poi preso il nome di Teatro Provvisorio Comunale. Venne trasferito in questi locali per dichiarata fatiscenza e inagibilità del seicentesco Teatro della Fortuna la cui ultima stagione era si era tenuta nel 1839.

from January 1841 to the summer 1863 the great Hall of Palazzo Malatestiano hosted the theater of Fano, a decidedly precarious structure that would later take the name of Municipal Provisional Theater. It was transferred to these premises due to the declared dilapidation and unusability of the seventeenth-century Teatro della Fortuna whose last season was held in 1839.
